Do you have a hard time getting started on tasks? Do you experience decision paralysis? Do you have trouble creating a routine or sticking to it? Do you experience daily energy crashes? Do you make plans but struggle to follow through?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above, coaching can help you build customized strategies that fit your brain and lifestyle.
We'll talk about your current challenges, explore what's working (and what's not), and try out practical strategies to improve your executive function skills. Each session is highly individualized and can be as structured or unstructured as you need.
No formal preparation is needed! However, it can be helpful to come with a general idea of what challenges you're facing or specific goals you'd like to work on.
Coaching is action-oriented and focuses on building practical strategies for daily challenges like time management, organization, and motivation.
Therapy, on the other hand, explores emotional well-being, mental health conditions, and past experiences.
Coaching is not a replacement for therapy and does not address trauma, diagnoses, or deep emotional work.
Speech-language pathology, or speech therapy, covers all aspects of language and communication, swallowing, and cognition with a focus on rehabilitation or achieving "normal function." Coaching focuses specifically on executive function skills like planning, task initiation, and follow-through, with a focus on function and embracing differences.
I am not working to "fix" you in any way.
Since executive function and neurodivergence can impact communication, we can still discuss these topics in coaching sessions! However, coaching sessions are not speech therapy and are not covered by insurance.
No, all coaching sessions are online to make them more accessible and flexible. This allows you to participate from wherever you’re most comfortable.
That depends on your goals! Some clients benefit from just a few sessions to develop key strategies, while others prefer ongoing support to build and refine their systems over time.
Coaching can be weekly or less frequent, depending on what works best for you.
That’s completely okay! Many people seek coaching because they feel overwhelmed and don’t know what steps to take.
Our sessions will help you clarify your challenges, break them down into manageable steps, and experiment with strategies that fit your unique needs.
No. I understand the challenges of getting a diagnosis. You are welcome here whether you have an official diagnosis, have realized your neurodivergence, or are questioning your brain for the first time.
Same goes for medical diagnoses and chronic illnesses. I understand the difficulty of having "mystery illnesses." Regardless of the condition, we can work strategies for managing appointments, remembering medications, and dealing with fluctuating energy levels.
Personally and professionally, I have worked with a wide range of conditions and diagnoses. This list is not exhaustive. I am a life-long learner, so if you deal with something I'm not familiar with, I am more than happy to learn more!
