Craft & Coach
Wed. July 8th | 7:00-8:15 PM EST | $25
Wed. August 12th | 7:00-8:15 PM EST | $25
Craft & Coach is a combination of group coaching and a hands-on creative workshop designed to help you build personalized visual supports for everyday life.
In July, we'll focus on supports that help you notice what's happening in the moment, like reminders, check-ins, regulation tools, and communication supports. In August, we'll shift to supports that help with planning and follow-through, including visual schedules, trackers, and routines.
No artistic experience required! When you register, you'll receive a printable PDF of simple templates you can color, decorate, or customize with stickers before or during the workshop. We'll spend less time worrying about making something pretty and more time experimenting with supports that are actually useful for you.
Bring: markers, stickers, crayons, paper, whatever you want to create with!
Note: This group is taking place of Curious Conversations, the usual drop-in group on the second Wednesday of the month. Curious Conversations will resume in September!
Start Together
Fri. July 10th | 3:00-4:00 PM EST
Wed. July 22nd | 5:00-6:00 PM EST
Start Together is a free community group group for anyone who wants a little support getting started. Whether it’s a project you’ve been putting off, a hobby you’ve been wanting to try, or something you’ve been meaning to return to, you’re welcome to bring it here. Open to teens and adults.
We’ll begin by sharing what we’re working on, spend time together in a low-pressure, supportive space, and wrap up with a brief check-in. Some people use the time to work quietly on a task, while others come for the connection and shared momentum. This group is about community, gentle initiation, and making it a little easier to start.
Note: this is similar to body doubling, but the focus is on getting started, and there may be a little more chit-chat than in a typical body doubling session.
Finding Joy Through Authenticity:
A Neurodivergent Book Discussion
Thurs. July 16th | 12:00-12:45 PM EST | A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna
Join me and Jennifer Glacel, LCSW, RPT-S for a free, facilitated discussion space that celebrates neurodivergent joy and authenticity through books, other media, and our lived experiences. We meet the third Thursday of the month, 12:00-12:45 EST.
We’ll use stories as a starting point to explore themes that show up in our own lives and relationships. You’re welcome to share, listen, reflect, or just exist in the space.
More specific themes may include:
-
neurodivergent identity and relationships
-
feeling understood
-
masking and authenticity
-
curiosity, self-compassion, and new ways of thinking
You're encouraged to read in advance (books, ebooks, and audiobooks all count!), but you don't need to finish to participate. The focus is on connection and exploration, not keeping up with the reading.
